With more than 10 years of experience as a psychotherapist

I am a licensed psychotherapist with more than 10 years of experience in New York City, specializing in individual psychotherapy and couples psychotherapy. Having practiced in NYC, I worked with people from diverse backgrounds, ethnicities and sexual orientations. This rich experiences in my practice taught me to developed a deep understanding of the cultures and environments that nurture and shape our lives. I see and approach individuals, intimate relationships, parenting, families through the lense of understanding and compassion. My patients from all walks of life taught me that no matter where we come from, we all have inner resilience to cope with life stressors, sometimes even the stressors that bring us unfathomable amount of challenges and pain. In 2003, Master degree in social Work from New York University.

Earlier in my career, I dedicated myself to working in the not-for-profit sector.
I worked for the Center for Urban Community Services—which is the largest Non-Profit Organization serving the homeless population in New York City—for five years. In this position, I worked with people who were affected by chronic and severe mental illnesses, substance abuse, HIV, poverty, and social injustice.
